ALLARVAE is co-funded by the Portuguese Government and the European Commission through CRESC Algarve 2020 (Portugal 2020) and the European Regional Development Fund (Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional – FEDER).
CRESC Algarve 2020 (Algarve Operational Program) aims to mobilize Algarve Region towards balanced Development, improvement of its Competitiveness, Resilience, Sustainability and Entrepreneurial capacity. These characteristics are reinforced through the Knowledge and Expertise available on the institutions and companies of the region.
Portugal 2020 is a PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT adopted between Portugal and the European Commission, which brings together the activities of the five European Structural and Investment Funds – European Regional Development Fund, Cohesion Fund, European Social Fund, European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and European Maritime Affairs and Fisheries – which defines the programming principles that enshrine the economic, social and territorial development policy to promote, in Portugal, between 2014 and 2020.
FEDER aims to strengthen economic, social and territorial cohesion in the European Union by correcting imbalances between its regions. In 2021-2027 it will enable investments in a smarter, greener, more connected and more social Europe that is closer to its citizens.
